The Australian Community Support Organisation (ACSO) is a dynamic, values driven NFP, focused on partnering with government and the community to co-design services that create real social change. We’re an organisation with a bold vision for a community where everyone has the opportunity to thrive, and prison truly is the last resort. It’s our goal to reduce re-offending, and our purpose to strengthen the wellbeing of communities by advocating for and delivering services which divert people away from the justice system.

The role

This role is responsible for leading the service design, implementation and evaluation of ACSO's programs, implementing our growth strategy, and overseeing and promoting an advocacy and research agenda.

What we’re looking for?

  • Minimum Bachelor level qualification in a relevant field
  • 15+ years sector experience, with at least 5 years as a manager of managers
  • Extensive and demonstrable experience forming strategic relationships within the sector and the community, including demonstrated success in business development.
  • Influential communicator
  • Generator of impactful solutions
  • Strong record of success in service development
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully influence and lead
  • Proven track record in driving and shaping a work environment that is innovative, creative in providing solutions and delivering best practice
