The Short Term Intervention Program (STIP) aims to provide individuals person centred treatment in relation alcohol and other drugs (AOD) that meets the unique needs of each client, utilising a range of interventions, including brief interventions, short term counselling and care and coordination. You will provide advocacy and support over the phone and in person, for vulnerable and hard to reach populations, the aim of the program is to keep people engaged in the treatment service system while awaiting longer term supports. You will also advise and arrange appropriate wrap-around services, and provide information sessions and groups, for individuals and their families/carers as per identified needs.

Please note, as ACSO is an NDIS provider, the successful candidate must hold an NDIS Worker Screening Check Clearance before they commence employment in this position.
