We have been doing this for 65 years and are still innovating in disability accommodation and support today. Recent growth has now created a number of opportunities for Enrolled Nurses and Registered Nurses, to join our ranks.

Job Purpose

You will be required to coordinate and deliver quality client nursing and support services consistent with the Disability Services Act 1993, ensuring services are in line with current service philosophy which promotes improvement in quality of life and fosters independence for people with a disability.

Essential Selection Criteria

  • Registered Nurse (RN) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) with at least two years FTE post graduate experience;
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of health and disability services;
  • Confidence to critically assess and provide appropriate, effective and timely care in a multidisciplinary approach;
  • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communications skills;
  • Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment including as a leader of a team.
  • Current CPR;
  • Current Working with Children Check and NSW Driver's Licence (Green P2 or Full);
  • Ability to work a rotating roster in a 24 hour care facility;
  • Experience in working with people with disabilities, preferably in a community setting; (desirable)
  • Experience in working with people who have complex health support needs; (desirable) and
  • Understanding of legislation relevant to supporting people with disabilities including the NSW Disability Inclusion Act 2014.

We currently have full time, part time and casual vacancies for roles across the following sites (with varied medical and behavioural needs, as well as day programs (9-5 Monday to Friday) and 24/7 roster shifts:

  • Llandilo - 24/7 roster shifts (complex behavioural)
  • North Ryde - day programs and 24/7 roster shifts (complex behavioural)
  • Kellyville - 24/7 roster shifts
  • Epping - day programs
  • Seven Hills - day programs
  • Mountford - 24/7 roster shifts
  • Summer Hill Houses/Respite - 24/7 roster shifts (high medical)
