We have a number of opportunities for experienced Assistants in Nursing to join our hard-working team at Llandilo where we have 4 group homes set on beautiful acreage. We have both Casual and Part time positions are available and are looking for positive, motivated individuals who enjoy working in a team to empower people with disabilities to reach their potential.

About the Roles

Working with a range of complex behaviours, the roles require individuals with a person-centred approach putting clients at the centre of their own service by helping them make choices, plan goals and have extraordinary lives. You will be passionate about making sure Achieve clients have the best opportunity to do well in their community and be passionate about building positive relationships by working in partnership with clients and co-workers communicating with clarity and respect.

Essential Selection Criteria

  • Certificate III or IV in Individual Support/Disability/Aged Care and minimum 1 year experience working in a relevant role;
  • Current First Aid Certificate;
  • Understanding and commitment to the Disability Standards and WHS;
  • Sound interpersonal communication and customer service skills;
  • Ability to problem solve and adapt to changing environments;
  • Current Working with Children Check; and
  • NSW Driver's Licence (Green P2 or Full).

Please note that only applicants who meet ALL of the above criteria will be considered.

This position is covered by the Modern Nurses Industry Award 2010. Successful candidates will be offered a rate of pay based on experience and qualification.
