What’s the gig?

The Digital Marketing Lead is the expert who takes our approach to engaging potential new donors and reaching new audiences to the next level. The strategies they create also increase brand awareness, inform and help mobilise our supporters to take action and advocate for ACF’s campaigns.

An expert in marketing on Facebook, Instagram, Google and other platforms, the Digital Marketing Lead collaborates with the fundraising and campaigns teams, as well as other communications staff to develop innovative strategies across all our digital touchpoints.

Reporting into our Strategic Marketing Manager, and working as part of the wider Engagement Directorate, this role is ACF’s in-house digital marketing guru and uses their extensive digital advertising and broader marketing knowledge to turbo-charge ACF’s fundraising and advocacy.

The Digital Marketing Lead will have the opportunity to shape our new and innovative digital marketing strategy, as well as oversee each digital marketing campaign from set up to optimisation, through to evaluation.

We’re entering an era of digital transformation at the ACF and have high ambitions to be leaders in the sector and the country.

About you!

You will have about 5 or so years’ experience working in digital advertising, performance marketing or social media marketing roles, where you worked with CRMs like Nationbuilder, and learnt to track, analyse and provide insights into digital ad campaigns using tools such as Google Analytics, Facebook Ads Manager, and Google AdWords.

You’re creative, innovative, and a critical thinker, with a penchant for solutions that push boundaries. You are happy to work autonomously, and can motivate yourself, but can adapt to working in a collaborative team environment just as easily. You should be able to think quickly on your feet and respond effectively and with poise when the situation calls for it.

Above all, you’ll need to show initiative, creativity, and originality, as well as demonstrated experience in leading digital strategy development, and providing expert advice and knowledge in an inhouse setting.
