The Australian Conservation Foundation is Australia’s national environment organisation – 700,000 people creating a world where nature, people and wildlife thrive. In 2021 we are again running the ACF Fellowship program – a structured training and volunteering opportunity for emerging campaigners, community organisers and communicators. Excitingly, we are now recruiting in Gladstone, QLD!
Through the ACF Fellowship, you’ll be part of a supportive workplace where you can:
The volunteer commitment is two days per week from July to December, 2021. You'll be working on some of the most exciting environmental campaigns in Australia, like securing a stimulus package for green jobs in regional Queensland or getting a new generation of nature laws that actually protect the places we love.
The role could see you coaching our groups on environmental campaigns, leading a national team onboarding new volunteers, collecting powerful stories, evaluating our people-power efforts or supporting new Community Groups as they get up and going.
