We are committed to fostering community development, youth, settlement and employment initiatives and to providing personal support programs to address the needs of disadvantaged youth and community groups including migrants, refugees, humanitarian entrants and visa holders.

Position Overview

Carry out administration tasks under supervision. To learn and develop business skills for assessment outcomes required for the traineeship whilst undertaking and completing a Certificate I in Business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Fulfill general office administration and reception duties including answering phones, greeting clients and visitors, screening and directing calls, scheduling appointments
  • Information handling, data entry, scheduling appointments and other processing tasks
  • Establish and maintain record keeping and filing systems
  • Complete requested tasks and prioritise own tasks to meet appropriate deadlines to a high standard
  • Running errands, ordering stationery supplies, sending and receiving mail as well as other general administrative duties
  • Use office equipment including computers, photocopiers, filing systems, binding/stapling machines, communication and phone systems
  • Attend and engage in team meetings
  • Workplace housekeeping tasks
