Trainer / Assessor - Certificate II in Parks and Gardens

Advance Community College is a non-profit Adult Education Provider, Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and an Independent School that has been providing education, training and employment support services across the Mornington Peninsula since 1980. It has sites in Hastings, Mornington and Rosebud.

We are currently seeking a suitably qualified and experienced trainer to deliver Certificate II in Parks and Gardens to school based trainees (SBATs).

The position is located in South East Melbourne/Mornington Peninsula.

The SBATS are located in a school environment, and the position comprises 2 days per week of face-to-face delivery and additional hours for preparation and marking.

Candidates for the position must hold:

  • TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent;
  • Current drivers licence;
  • Current and clear Working with Children Check;
  • Have suitable vocational experience to meet requirements of the qualifications being delivered;
  • Have or be prepared to obtain a Permission to Teach (or VIT Registration); and
  • Have been fully vaccinated for COVID-19.

Candidates with experience in other Horticultural fields (Landscaping, Horticulture, Conservation and Land Management) are encouraged to apply.
