The Opportunity

The People & Culture (P&C) Operations Partner will provide support to three People & Culture Leaders to meet strategic priorities and operational imperatives, to a geographically dispersed client group.

This position will suit a mid-level HR professional who is able to provide broad HR generalist support to senior P&C managers, in the following ways:

  • Support the implementation of a new global cloud based HCM system (Oracle) including internal stakeholder engagement
  • Contribute to the research, review and development of P&C strategic initiatives and policy development, to drive business improvement and enhance organisational culture
  • Support end-to end recruitment and selection as may be required during peak periods
  • Coordinate HR reporting, metrics and governance documents as required
  • Manage cyclical performance planning & reviews, coaching managers and staff on best practice, support performance analytics and the identification of top talent
  • Act as a trusted advisor to corporate staff on IR/ER matters, to resolve workplace issues or concerns
  • Manage the contracting and onboarding of corporate staff
  • Implement workplace health and safety best practices for corporate office locations (Brisbane and Canberra)
  • Support ad hoc P&C projects and initiatives as may be required

To be successful in this position you will have Human Resources experience working for an organisation with similar complexity (global/multi-site HR operations), together with hands-on experience in HCM system implementation (preferably Oracle) including user training and acceptance, proven ability in HR policy development, end to end recruitment and selection, coordination of best practice cyclical performance reviews; and the ability to engage at all levels and build trusted relationships across the organisation.
