The Role

Abrs are seeking a permanent full-time Case Manager to join the Family Preservation team based in Western Sydney.

You will to provide in-home crisis intervention, practical assistance, counseling and skill development for families who have children at risk of significant harm and are at risk of placement in out-of-home-care (OOHC). 

The successful Case Worker will have: 

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Social Work
• 3 years' experience working with children and young people and their family in a child protection context 
• Experience working with children and families with complex needs  
• Utilising therapeutic approaches to supporting children and their families
• Experience in working with families with multiple, complex needs and that may be experiencing acute crisis 
• Experience in running parenting groups or children’s groups
