Our Client is currently looking to expand into new markets and is looking to engage with a Strategic Business Consultant on an initial 3 week engagement. This role will assist the Board and CEO to assess the suitability of the concept business through a comprehensive, well rounded report that has evaluated all key information related to the concept plan.

This role will involve:

• Evaluate industry trends and assess suitability of business concept to the sector
• Conduct a Competitive Analysis in regards to market demand potential and available market as well as size and scalability.
• Identify target market and value added opportunities as well as barriers and non-barriers to entry including franchise opportunities or barriers.
• Identify and report on relevant legal regulations and their implications
• Identify and report on relevant Council Regulations and Development requirements
• Detect current and future risks of business, including location and competitors.
• Identify price points and establish a realistic budget in conjunction with the CFO
• Advise on locations for premises of business operations
• Identify potential operational / organisation structure for the service in conjunction with CEO and HR Management

The requirements for this role include:

• Strong consultative background within the Disabilities sector/ market
• Understand and interpret big data with the ability to understand and present financial information
• Ability to write a business case, government funding grants and application for council
• Commercially savvy
