Our Client is currently looking for Part Time (4 day/ week) Quality and Compliance Manager - Disability is responsible for driving the quality strategy to ensure exceptional services are delivered in a timely manner adhering to sector quality and performance standards.

This role will involve:

  • Achieves quality assurance operational objectives by contributing information and analysis to strategic plans and reviews
  • Prepare for and manage annual external registration and quality audits
  • Develops service related quality assurance plans by conducting incident and hazard analyses; identifying critical control points and preventive measures; monitoring procedures, corrective actions, and verification procedures
  • Maintain and improve service quality by completing system, compliance, and surveillance audits; investigating customer complaints; collaborating with other members of management to develop corrective actions and improve training methods
  • Prepare quality documentation and reports by initiating, collecting, analysing and summarising information and trends including participant surveys, staff surveys, incidents, hazards and corrective actions
  • Develop and periodically review and update Codes of Conduct to ensure continuing currency and relevance in providing guidance to management and employees
  • Respond to alleged violations of regulations, policies, procedures, and standards of conduct by evaluating or recommending the initiation of investigative procedures
  • Identify potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk. Develop and implement corrective action plans for resolution of problematic issues and provide general guidance on how to avoid or deal with similar situations in the future
  • Provides reports on a regular basis and as directed or requested, to keep the Board, Executive and Management informed of the operation and progress of compliance efforts

The requirements for this role include;

  • Strong background within a Quality and Compliance position within the Disability sector/ market
  • Understand and interpret legislation and codes of conduct
  • Ability to work with varying stakeholders to come to terms with what is "best business practice"
