Our Client, based in the Northern Territory, is currently recruiting for an experienced Principal Psychologist to join their Specialised Assessment and Treatment Services team team based in Darwin.

The position is a mix of management and clinical duties (50/50) supporting youth within a Youth Detention Centre. Managing a small team of 4 clinicians the role also acts as a stand in for the Director from time to time.

This role will involve:

• Conducting and analysing psychometric tests and clinical assessment reports
• Supervising a team of Psychologists
• Working within a wider team of OT's and speech pathologists

The requirements for this role include:

• AHPRA Registration
• Understanding of the Risk Need Responsivity (RNR)
• Cultural awareness of the aboriginal community
• Extensive experience working with Children and Young people
• A tertiary qualification Psychology or Counselling

Additional Information

• A number of probity checks are required including holding a current working with children and undertaking a National police checks.
