Our Client is currently looking for a People and Culture Advisor to join there team on a part time basis (3-4 days/week) with flexible hours, located in Fairfield.
This role will involve:
- Advice and support business and functional leaders on various HR / IR matter including performance improvement, disciplinary actions, WorkCover and applicable awards.
- Manage HR Policies & Procedures ensuring compliance with applicable local legislation.
- Drive HR Projects and Continuous Improvement initiatives contributing to workflow improvement and organisational efficiency.
- Facilitate end to end recruitment process including developing job descriptions, outlining contracts and new employee on-boarding.
- Facilitate development and performance management process, employee engagement, workforce planning.
- Manage employee personal files and HR system records with up to date employee information.
- Act as the first point of contact for HR related queries.
- Partner with Finance team on payroll matters including remuneration, awards and benefits.
The requirements for this role include:
- Degree in Business or Human Resources
- Understanding of legislation and SCHADS award
- Highly creative with a passion for unlocking the potential of people and business
- Excellent verbal and written communication with an engaging presence
