Our Client is currently seeking an experienced leader to join their team in Lake Macquarie! You will support and coach a team of family contact workers to provide high quality service to children and families involved in statutory child protection.

This role will involve;

• Support, coach and lead a team of supervised contact workers to maintain a high standard of service when supervising contact between children and their families
• Respond to referrals from child protection agencies and conduct intake assessments and parent interviews
• Liaise with the Department of Communities and Justice, Family Court and Family Law firms
• Review and sign-off contact worker case notes in accordance with case plan timeframes
• Rostering and Allocation

They are looking for candidates with in child protection or family work.

The requirements for this role include;

• Bachelors Degree in Social Work, Psychology or related field
• Experience in child protection, supervised family contact or family work
• Experience in a leadership role, supporting and coaching staff
• NSW full driver’s license and Working with Children’s Check
