Our Client, an established Canberra based not-for-profit organisation is looking for compassionate and experienced case managers to manage a case load of women and children effected by domestic violence.
This role will involve:
- Providing case management to women and children
- Engaging with families and collaborating with them to develop effective plans for medium & long-term positive outcomes
- Undertaking assessments, reviews, reporting and administration
- Developing and building effective stakeholder relationships within the community sector, government and non-government organisations
They are looking for candidates with empathy and compassion who are able to help clients reach goals.
The requirements for this role include:
- A relevant qualification in human services such as a Diploma or Social Work degree
- 2 years experience of working with vulnerable people
- A non-judgemental and proactive approach to work and clients
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- A commitment to confidentiality of clients
- A driving license is required
- Valid and current WWCC
