Domestic Violence Case Worker

Our Client, an established Canberra based not-for-profit organisation is looking for compassionate and experienced case managers to manage a case load of women and children effected by domestic violence.

This role will involve:

  • Providing case management to women and children
  • Engaging with families and collaborating with them to develop effective plans for medium & long-term positive outcomes
  • Undertaking assessments, reviews, reporting and administration
  • Developing and building effective stakeholder relationships within the community sector, government and non-government organisations

They are looking for candidates with empathy and compassion who are able to help clients reach goals.

The requirements for this role include:

  • A relevant qualification in human services such as a Diploma or Social Work degree
  • 2 years experience of working with vulnerable people
  • A non-judgemental and proactive approach to work and clients
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • A commitment to confidentiality of clients
  • A driving license is required
  • Valid and current WWCC

Additional Information

This is a permanent full time position. A pool car is available. Salary packaging is on offer.
