Child Protection Implementation Specialist

Our Client is a well-known reputable organisation that services clients on the South-west Sydney region. They are currently looking to improve evidence-based practice in their services and are looking for a Child Protection and/or OOHC Specialist to bring their sector knowledge to lead and manage this project until June 2022.

This role will involve:

  • Regular reporting to the CEO
  • Reviewing current process and presenting recommendations
  • Managing end-to-end project
  • Make informed decisions to amend and improve practice across programs
  • Increase evidence-based practice across all programs
  • Review and make changes to current policies and procedures
  • Provide training through the implementation cycle of this project

They are looking for candidates that are confident in making informed decisions that influence change in policy and process.

The requirements for this role include:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Family Therapy or relevant discipline
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the NSW child protection system including The NSW Children and Young Persons (Care and Protection) Act, current reforms and expectations and standards relating to service delivery in Out of Home Care
  • Experience in presenting and managing projects of any size
  • WWCC
