Our Client is currently seeking an experienced child protection caseworker to join their team on a 3 month fixed-term contract with options for permanency for the right candidate! You will provide early intervention casework to children and families with child-protection concerns who are at risk of entering out-of-home-care.

This role will involve;

• Conducting face-to-face and over-the-phone risk assessments and documenting within required timeframes
• Ensuring the strengths and needs of the children and families are assessed and met
• Ensuring all relevant parties are included in case planning, reviews and family conferencing
• Offering counselling and skills training to parents to assist in build parenting capacity

They are looking for candidates with casework experience in Child Protection or Out-of-Home-Care.

The requirements for this role include;

• Bachelors degree in Social Work, Psychology or related field
• At least 1 year casework experience in Child Protection or related field
• Demonstrated experience working with children and families with complex needs
• NSW Full Drivers License
