Our client, an established Children service provider, is looking for a Caseworker to carry out a 4 month contract starting Mid July, 2020.

This contract role will involve;

• Supporting a caseload of young people who are transitioning out of care.
• The caseworker will be helping and supporting young people with daily living skills, access to various services in the community and to help the young people with study or employment options.
• Supporting young people secure accommodation.
• Maintaining current case notes.
• Sound knowledge and experience of building up external and internal inter agency relationships.

The successful candidate will have a sound ability to build strong relations with young people of diverse backgrounds.

The requirements for this contract role include;

• Tertiary qualifications in Social Work, and all relevant human services qualifications.
• Minimum of 2 years working with young people, homeless or mental health in a casework capacity.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to build rapport with young people.
• Commitment to a 4 month contract.
• Current drivers license.
• Current NSW Working with Children Check
• Availability to start in 2 weeks.
