An established not-for profit organisation in the Wollongong area are seeking Case Workers to share their lived experience to support displaced Migrant and Refugee families.
This role will involve:
Providing quality case management and community development services to clients
Conduct assessments and monitor client progress
Assist clients to link in to services within the community to build capacity and resilience
Liaising with other services to build strong referral pathways
Develop, implement and review case plans for clients
Providing support to clients with a range of complex issues and needs in a culturally sensitive manor
The requirements for this role include:
Minimum of 2 years’ experience working with vulnerable adults and/or children
A degree in Social Work
Knowledge on mandatory reporting and completion of assessments
Ability to work with a variety of clients from various cultures and backgrounds
Lived experience valued and welcomed
Current drivers’ licence
Background in mental health, child protection and domestic violence is highly desirable but not essential
