Our Client is currently looking for an experienced Children & Families Case Manager to work for 3-6 months on a contract in the Maitland area.
This role will involve:
- Manage own case load of Children and families engaged in the program
- Support families with a multitude of issues ranging from Domestic violence, Mental Health and Child Protection difficulties
- Develop , implement and review case plans on a regular basis
- Conduct home visits to see your families ensuring risk is assessed at all times
- Participate in individual and group supervision
- Record case notes and relevant information
- Follow organisational Policies & Procedures
They are looking for candidates who are available to take on a short term contract for 3-6 months initially to start within a fast paced and supportive team of Case Managers.
The requirements for this role include:
- Minimum 2 years experience of working with vulnerable Children and Families
- A Social Work , Psychology or Counselling degree (extensive experience with a diploma qualification may be considered)
- Emphatic, passionate and reliable attitude to work
- Ability to communicate with a range of stakeholders and strong written skills
- A valid and current WWCC
