An exciting opportunity has become available to work for Barnardos, one of Australia’s leading children’s charities. Barnardos Australia builds relationships between children, young people, their families and the community. They advocate for children and young people and contribute to community knowledge about their issue.
Barnardos are looking for a full time Case Manager for the Carer Recruitment & Intake Team based at the Barnardos Centre in Ashfield, Sydney. This office will be relocating to Homebush in April 2021. This is a 12 month maternity leave contract.
Reporting to the Program Manager, the Case Manager, Carer Recruitment & Intake will be responsible for the provision of high-quality programs for children, young people, their families and communities with respect to Barnardos Australia (BA) services. This position has responsibility for authorised carer recruitment from carer enquiry to authorisation, and post authorisation ongoing carer training and support. Further key roles relate to placement referral, intake/triage and initial placement matching.
This particular role will be mostly focused towards placement referral and intake, and will have no direct involvement with children.
The ideal Case Manager will have:

You will also need to have a current NSW driver license and have the availability to respond to authorised carers, and, participate in carer recruitment or carer training activities as required after hours.

Salary:
$72, 912 - $88 847 base (including FBT packaging) + Super. Motor vehicle packaging available.
