Our Client, a drug and alcohol rehabilitation program for parents and their children is currently recruiting for an experienced AOD Support Worker to join their team based in Campbelltown.
This role will involve:
- Supporting clients with day to day activities
- Ensuring clients are adhering to program guidelines and routines
- Assisting with managing behaviours of children and building parenting capacity through daily routines and interactions
- Writing up case notes and reports at the end of each shift
- Working on a shift basis
The requirements for this role include
- Minimum Cert IV in a human services related qualification such as Community Services, AOD, Youth or social work.
- Minimum of 1 year experience working with vulnerable people, where possible families with young children
- Empathy and good listening skills essential in order to support clients
- A First aid certificate
- Current driving license
- Valid WWCC
- Should you have a police check that would be advantageous but not essential

- A number of probity checks are required including holding a current working with children and undertaking a National police checks.
- This is a contract position how ever there is on going and regular weekly work
