Our client is seeking an Aboriginal Identified Support Worker to join their team based in South-West Sydney. The Support Worker would work with children, young people and families in Out of Home Care (OOHC).

This role will involve:

  • Supporting the OOHC Case Managers with in-home care
  • Supporting clients with supervision and travel
  • Building a strong rapport with children, youth and families
  • Report Writing

They are looking for candidates who are passionate about working with children, youth & families in OOHC.

The requirements for this role include;

  • Cert IV or Diploma in Community Services or relevant tertiary qualifications
  • WWCC
  • Drivers Licence
  • Confident report writing skills

This position is Aboriginal identified. To perform this role, it is essential that the person who holds the role be an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander person. It is a genuine occupational requirement under section 25 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1991 that applicants are Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islanders.
