The Role:

We are seeking Disability Support Workers to provide supports to participants based in the Newcastle region.

This is an ongoing Casual role, with opportunities for permanent employment.

Many shifts available with varying times and service types. Including weekdays, nights, weekends

Tasks may include:

• Community access, transport.
• Personal care.
• Transfers, hoisting.
• Domestic assistance, meal preparation.

About you:

• Experience is not required - just a positive attitude & eager to learn!
• Passionate about providing quality care.
• Reliable, honest and trustworthy.
• Motivated with a great work ethic.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work unsupervised.

Additional criteria (not required at time of application):

• National Police Check.
• Working with Children Check (WWCC).
• NDIS Worker Check (NDISWC).
• NDIS Orientation Module.
• First Aid Certificate.
• Covid-19 Vaccination.
• Hold a current driver's licence and reliable transport.
