Dementia Australia is a well-known and respected organisation transforming the experience of people impacted by dementia by elevating their voices and inspiring excellence in support and care free from discrimination.
We are currently seeking an experienced Support Worker to join our Client Services team based at the Gold Coast. As a Support Worker you will be responsible for providing quality supports consisting of domestic duties, community based respite, social support services and personal care for people with dementia and their family carers, based on person-centred practice. Dementia Australia runs two state of the art respite centres on the Gold Coast.
To be successful in the position, you will meet the key selection criteria as outlined below, be a team player and show an absolute commitment to the delivery of high quality dementia services and support within your region.
Certificate III in Aged Care or demonstrated equivalent experience is a must.
