We are currently seeking a Business Analyst to join our Information Technology team on a full time, 12 month contract The Business Analyst will work closely with several business units across the organisation to develop and document business processes, requirements and reporting needs. A major focus of the Business Analyst will be supporting the delivery of a Dynamics CRM project, but they will also be required to assist outside of that project where required.

Reporting directly to the Chief Information Officer, you will also be responsible for:

  • Creating and optimising workflow processes for business units that limit customisation of systems while providing efficient work practises.
  • Coordinating with vendors to ensure an alignment of systems with business processes and to ensure data imports are completed with accuracy and integrity.
  • Ensuring systems are implemented securely with the appropriate security and support structures in place
  • Assisting with the training on systems to aid in the adoption of new systems.
  • Assisting and/or developing reporting for business units for decision making and performance management.

To be successful in the position, you will be a team player, show an absolute commitment to the delivery of high quality results and meet the key selection criteria outlined below.

Key Selection Criteria:

  1. Minimum 7 years’ experience as a Business Analyst within a not-for-profit (NFP), health services, government or similar environment.
  2. Knowledge and experience working across a range of CRM systems and technologies. Experience with Dynamics 365 CRM is considered favourable.
  3. Extensive experience with documentation, requirements gathering and business case development.
  4. Influential communication skills who consults across functional and organisational boundaries and engages effectively with senior leaders, has confidence to initiate conversations and negotiate compromises in difficult or tense situations, and adjusts communication styles and content for a given audience.
  5. Critical and analytical thinking skills, with an ability to manage ambiguity, see the big picture while also de constructing complex issues and challenges.

Qualifications:

  • University degree in Business, IT, Strategy or related field.
