We seek a highly motivated and experienced lawyer to join our team.

The lawyer will work in our Family Violence Program, as part of an integrated partnership with a social work trained youth practitioner supporting children and young people using and experiencing violence, and providing legal advice, casework and court representation. In addition to family violence work they will provide casework in other related matters including crime, fines, debts, and VOCAT.

• 4 days a week (0.8FTE) for 12 months.
• Level 6.1 – 6.3 SCHCADS Award (CDW) 2010 (depending on experience)
• In addition, salary packaging, superannuation and an additional week of annual leave.

Key selection criteria include

• At least 2 years legal practice experience
• Court experience
• Excellent communication and written skills
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Demonstrated experience and ability in working within a small team environment and working autonomously.
