Yfoundations is recruiting an experienced Health Education & Facilitator. 

Your role will require delivering the Sticky Stuff Training face to face throughout the state of NSW as well as working closely alongside the Health project officer to advocate, develop and support the Sector around health issues that affect At-risk and homeless young people.

Yfoundations Pty ltd is the Peak body for youth homelessness in New South Wales. Yfoundations works primarily in the interests of young people by promoting the foundations that are essential for young people to flourish and to end youth homelessness (The five foundations can be found on the Yfoundations website).

We engage with the whole of Government, local Councils, Organisations and Community to inform policy reform and advocate to end youth homelessness.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

Yfoundations is seeking a Full-time Health Health Promotion and Training Lead to support in the delivery of sexual health training to youth workers across NSW.

• Stakeholder engagement local health district (LHD) HARP health promotion and key stakeholders to establish a model for working with youth services.
• To maintain and continually develop training programs for state-wide delivery to youth workers supporting safe sexual health practices.
• Building the knowledge, skills and confidence of youth workers to engage youth in sexual health education and provide quality support.
• Increasing access to sexual health services for vulnerable and marginalised young people, including those who are disadvantaged, at-risk or experiencing homelessness.
• Increasing support available for peer educators/ambassadors
