We provide affordable housing, and work to reduce disadvantage and social exclusion for people who have previously been homeless, by helping to create communities around them. Unison also assists over 3,000 people each year who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.

About the Role

Reporting to the Team Leader, you will deliver high quality tenancy and property management services. This includes actively working towards sustaining successful tenancies for a diverse range of people, many of whom have complex needs.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • End-to-end property management such as arrears management, routine inspections, represent Unison at VCAT.
  • Arranging and participating in house meetings and leading placemaking events.
  • Work closely with housing support workers to facilitate positive outcomes for clients.

About You

To make this role a success, we are seeking a person who is:

  • Self-motivated with a demonstrated commitment to social justice and to the empowerment of disadvantaged members of the community.
  • Has experience in the provision of community housing services - including tenancy and property management (or other relevant experience).
  • Can work effectively and sensitively with complex clients, including those with mental health, AOD and disability needs.
  • A skilled communicator with the ability to work in partnership with other community services, users and support agencies to improve service quality and outcomes.
  • Bring energy, drive and enthusiasm in working as part of a dedicated operational team.

On Offer

  • Permanent Full time position
  • Salary $72,400 per annum (plus super, salary packaging and 17.5% leave loading)
  • 5 weeks annual leave with 17.5% annual leave loading
