About the role

The Program Development Officer for Domestic and Family Violence Integration will be responsible for leading and delivering the key objectives of the Domestic Family Violence Pilot Project. This role will be responsible for mapping domestic and family violence services in our region, developing referral pathways and increasing awareness in the primary care setting.

Our ideal candidate will have a tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in the field of Health, Program Management, Welfare or Community Services. Experience in the domestic family violence sector is crucial to this role, as is an understanding of services and referral pathways within the sector.

Highly developed communication skills (both written and oral) and engagement skills are a must as is the ability to design, develop and implement program outcomes by utilising project management skills.

We are looking for someone with the ability to coordinate and deliver training in the primary care sector so an understanding of the primary health care setting within the Australian context is desirable.

This position is full time and is funded until June 2022. Future employment is subject to ongoing funding.
