Looking for an experienced Tenancy Officer. You will be a great communicator with excellent administration skills and a thorough understanding of the residential tenancies act.

The Tenancy Officer is responsible for providing quality tenancy and customer services to Women’s Housing tenants. This position works within a team, reporting to the Housing Services Manager. The Tenancy Officer is responsible for managing a range of tenancies, including transitional housing tenancies, long term tenancies and rooming house tenancies.

Position is based at Cremorne head office however Tenancy Officer is required to be based at outreach locations during the week.

Desirable experience and skills are:

• Cert IV in Social housing (desirable) or similar
• Good knowledge and application of the Residential Tenancy Act
• Intermediate IT skills ie. Microsoft Office and a tenancy management system
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Ability to negotiate and develop external relationships
• Experience working with complex clients
• Driver’s license

Need to be able to pass a Criminal History Check and Working with Children Check
