LikeMind Penrith and Seven Hills are run by Uniting and provide free and confidential integrated services for adults experiencing mental health concerns, as well as their families and carers.  LikeMind aims to establish partnerships across sectors and brings together existing community services to one accessible and engaging community space to develop an integrated service hub of co-located help and support.  The program uses a consumer-driven recovery model to work together with consumers to address their mental health needs.

  • Flexible full time or part time roles with full admins support

LikeMind is looking for highly motivated Private Practitioner’s to provide Medicare funded clinical services, ensuring that the clinical activities delivered are within your relevant professional and individual scope of practice; are evidence based; are of high quality and demonstrate a holistic approach to client management.  Our Private Practitioners complete work in assessment, treatment planning, psychological treatment and referral and are highly valued members of our team.

Essential Criteria:

This position would suit an individual who can demonstrate:

  • Full registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) for Psychologists, Mental Health Accreditation with Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) for Social Workers or Better Access Endorsed through Occupational Therapy Australian (OTA) for Occupational Therapists.
  • Eligibility to provide services under Medicare and be willing to bulk bill.
  • Genuine interest in providing clinical services to assist some of the most vulnerable members of the community.
  • Evidence based practice and previous experience in delivering psychological interventions.
  • A flexible and solutions focussed approach to practice.
  • Have an ABN or be able to obtain one.
