About the opportunity 

Looking for a permanent full-time Coordinator within our Healthy Living for Seniors program. You will be responsible for ensuring the healthy living for senior programs are effectively delivered to enhance wellness, independence and social connections for the individual and the family carer.

Office location is in Blacktown but you will need to be willing to work from our Springwood and Bankstown offices as required. There will also be a requirement to travel throughout the Western Sydney region to attend to our senior day programs.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with clients, their families and members of the Uniting community
• Managing the operation of day programmes and staff in conjunction with the Senior HLFS Coordinator
• Travel between offices/sites/programmes will be required
• Ensuring implementation of Healthy Living for Seniors Programs are in line with agreed service delivery model
• Balancing self-management and consumer directed care with duty of care and organisational capacity to deliver services

About you 

• Certificate IV in Home and Community care, Aged care or equivalent
• Current First Aid Certificate
• Current Australian Driver’s Licence
• Prior experience in a similar role within the Aged Care or Disability Industry
• Prior supervisory experience
