The role

As a result of continued growth of the organisation, a new full-time opportunity is now available for a Digital Content Coordinator to join our team in early 2022.

Reporting to the Marketing and Communications Manager, the Digital Content Coordinator will be responsible for the development and delivery of thought provoking and engaging content across Supply Nation’s various communication channels, including our website, social media channels, newsletters, magazines and publications.

The Digital Content Coordinator will manage the social media content calendar in collaboration with the wider marketing calendar, and work closely with our in-house Graphic Designer to develop graphics and collateral for relevant communication channels. They will also be responsible for managing SEO, Google Ad Words and content on Supply Nation’s website and associated platforms, with a strong focus on continuous improvement.

We are looking for a creative professional who is comfortable navigating diverse technology platforms to drive strong engagement across our various channels.

This role will suit an experienced content creator with an excellent eye for detail and ability to juggle multiple priorities within tight deadlines.

We encourage you to apply if you have:

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver engaging content across digital channels
  • Relevant marketing and /or content development experience working within a professional / business environment
  • Practical experience managing social media activity in a professional capacity
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and issues affecting Indigenous Australians in business
  • Qualifications in marketing, communications or similar discipline
  • Excellent attention to detail with proofreading and copy-editing skills (strong grammar and spelling)
  • Proven ability to engage with diverse audiences and build relationships with key stakeholders
  • Exceptional time management and prioritisation skills
  • Demonstrated managing multiple tasks under tight deadlines

Demonstrated understanding of the Indigenous business sector, and previous experience working on Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander issues/projects will be highly regarded.

Suitably qualified Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
