Your new role:

State Manager Warehouse - multi site role reporting to the Director of Commercial Enterprise, you will oversee the efficient operation of 7 depots across NSW. This is a unique role leading a dedicated team that manage the Container Deposit Scheme (CDS) across NSW. You are a highly effective communicator who can bring strong problem-solving abilities to grow your team and the CDS operations. This is a great opportunity for a driven Warehouse, multi site manager looking for the next step in a values driven organisation. Preferred base locations are either Unanderra 2526 or Penrith 2750 with ability to manage teams remotely.

The Manager, Return & Earn will:

  • Lead the efficient operation of all Vinnies return & earn depots across NSW
  • Supervise, train and develop a strong workforce
  • Ensure work health and safety guidelines and procedures are consistently implemented and observed at all work sites
  • Identify and advance business development opportunities related to CDS
  • Promote Vinnies Return & Earn Program to achieve continuous growth in the CDS market
  • Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective business operations.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Well-rounded business management knowledge and experience
  • Familiarity with the NSW Container Deposit Scheme
  • Strong people management skills
  • A keen eye for quality assurance, business improvement and development
  • Experience with project management and coordination
  • Current Driver Licence and flexibility to travel across NSW as needed
