Raise Foundation is creating thriving communities through mentoring programs that empower young people to become resilient, capable and connected. We are about to enter a significant strategic growth phase to offer our program to every public secondary school in Australia, so it is an exciting time to be part of a powerful youth mentoring movement.
To help us achieve our exciting growth plan, we are looking for an exceptional person to step into the role of State Manager – Programs NSW/ACT in Sydney for 30 hours per week for 43 weeks per annum (in school term time).
Lead the delivery of our best practice mentoring programs and implement our growth strategy for the State by managing the teams who deliver our programs in schools and communities, and representing various functions of our organisation such as Marketing, Partnerships, Evaluation, Training, Volunteers and Human Resources.
The State Manager – NSW/ACT reports to the Program Director, with support from the Executive Leadership Team, and works closely with the VIC and QLD State managers, Program Area Managers, Program Counsellors, key stakeholders and the Raise staff team.
It’s important that you have people management experience, and experience running community programs for young people, preferably in mentoring.
