We are seeking a full time Kitchen Hand to assist and support clients at our residential service based in Chambers Flats.

At Lives Lived Well, we help people impacted by drugs or alcohol as well as mental health. We get lives back on track by delivering a wide range of programs and services (including residential rehab) across 40 locations in Queensland and New South Wales.

About the Role

As the Kitchen Hand, you will assist in the day-to-day catering operations by ensuring that all catering is underpinned by quality and assurance. Their will be an element of working autonomously in the delivery of our food and nutrition program but will also provide supervision to clients in the preparation and service of meals.

You will be supported from an Food Services Coordinator and the team at the residential service

The base salary for this role is $26.76 - 29.83 per annum + super (9.5%) + salary packaging (increase your take home pay by up to $6000 per annum).

The successful candidate will need:

• Relevant experience working in commercial catering related operations
• Demonstrated competence and skills in catering and cookery
• Sound interpersonal skills for communicating clearly and effectively to clients and other staff
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Ability to prioritise duties, including the effective and efficient planning of day-to-day catering operations
• Understanding of and commitment to, core values of quality and recognition, professionalism, teamwork and performance accountability
• Driver's Licence
