We work with local Jesuit partners across Asia and Africa who walk with and empower the most vulnerable communities to live full and free lives, through participation in community development and humanitarian relief programs such as education, health, water and sanitation, livelihoods and sustainable agriculture.

About the role

This is a newly created role in our growing fundraising team – with the opportunity to be a key contributor to the fundraising strategy, by ensuring accurate and effective data capture and maintaining data integrity in Raisers Edge.

  • Proactive approach to data hygiene working in Raisers Edge database
  • Supporter record updates, follow-ups, and data cleansing
  • Process donations and issue receipts, and serve as back-up to Supporter Care Coordinator during peak times and holidays
  • Assist with data and fulfilment for supporter communications, and rejections/expiry management for Regular Giving program
  • Import and cleanse data files from online platforms and third-party sources into Raisers Edge
  • Download online event registrations and prepare registration lists and event exports
  • Assist with preparation and tidying of data files for direct marketing campaigns, email communications and events
  • Assist with maintenance of online shop and eDM system – including updating and creating lists, exporting reports and monitoring statistics

Essential Criteria

First and foremost, you need to be passionate about data and accuracy, and understand the power of data in driving good fundraising outcomes.

  • Previous experience in a data-driven role
  • Experience in data processing, and with normalising, importing and exporting data files
  • Experience with CRM and databases, and the ability to learn new systems
  • Advanced MS Excel skills and strong MS Word skills
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high quality, timely and accurate output
  • Strong written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to prioritise, work to deadlines and juggle tasks within a busy environment
