Integrated Family and Youth Service (IFYS Limited) meets the needs of some of the most vulnerable young people in the child protection sector. IFYS provides residential homes across Queensland. These homes provide programs to support young people in the care of the Queensland State Department of Child Safety, Youth and Women.
We currently have an exciting opportunity to fill the role of Residential Care Coordinator in one of our Ipswich Residential care programs.
The Residential Care Coordinator plays an integral role in providing quality residential care and life skill support to young people aged between 12 to 17 years of age, based on a therapeutic and trauma informed model of care. Reporting to the Residential Care Manager, this position will actively lead and supervise our dedicated team of Therapeutic Case Workers. This role ensures high quality service delivery in line with the recognised standards of care whilst meeting the operational and administrative requirements of the program.
Note: it is now a requirement for all people working in out of home care, to hold or be working towards a certificate IV or higher in a recognised field. For more information, please visit: http://peakcare.com.au/hopehealing/min-quals-res-care/.
