Hope Street Youth and Family Services Ltd ("Hope Street") has over 35 years of experience delivering specialist services to young people and their families experiencing, or at risk of, homelessness.
We are looking for a positive and dedicated Youth Residential Support Worker to work at Melton for a part-time position. In this role you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in young people’s lives. You will assist young people to access and maintain employment, engage in training and participate in their community. On a day to day basis you will provide assistance with living skills and household tasks such as food shopping, cooking and cleaning. You will also complete client file notes as needed and assist with administration duties to help operations run smoothly.
You have great customer service and relationship building skills, and you pride yourself on your ability to motivate clients to achieve outcomes. You would describe yourself as a team player and you enjoy interacting with a wide range of people. You have a relevant tertiary qualification or are in your final year of study and am looking forward to starting a role where you can have a real impact. You feel comfortable using the full suite of Microsoft applications and don’t mind helping out with administrative tasks as needed. You will be available to work every second weekend including some evenings.
