The Role:

We are seeking expressions of interest from ambitious, passionate and results driven leaders for the position of Executive Director White Ribbon Australia. The role is responsible for leading the development and implementation of the strategy and business plan for White Ribbon Australia to deliver the ongoing provision of advocacy and services aligned with the movement's mission and values.
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer Communicare Inc, the role will oversee the operational management of programs and services, commercial and grant management, organisational culture, risk, stakeholder and regulatory management.

The Executive Director White Ribbon Australia is accountable for ensuring the sustainable future and financial governance of White Ribbon Australia and leading the highest level of service and quality in the delivery of the movement's vision and mission.

Selection Criteria:

To be considered for this role, you will be able to demonstrate the following experience and abilities:

  • Leading and managing the operational, people and financial performance of a multi-disciplinary business; preferably in the not-for-profit sector
  • Demonstrated achievement in the areas of business development, external partner engagement and client relationship management
  • Demonstrated ability to influence others and develop and maintain connections and collaborative partnerships with people from a wide variety of backgrounds that enhance organisational goals
  • Ability to think strategically to foster new ideas and innovative business solutions
  • Managing complex requirements of key stakeholder groups to ensure highly effective relationships
  • Effective communication and relationship management skills, coupled with a collaborative and influential leadership and management style
  • Ability to clearly articulate a vision to inspire staff, clients, partners and stakeholders during a period of transformational change
