About the Opportunity

We are seeking a full time Garden Crew Supervisor is to work alongside, lead and supervise the Mamre Garden Crew to ensure all garden maintenance for assigned clients are completed to a high standard and in a timely manner.

In addition, ensuring the supported employees, our participants, are actively developing new skill sets and engaging with the community. The Garden Crew Supervisor also organises, directs and evaluates the workmanship of the crew engaged in landscaping or turf maintenance and provides further instructions or training if required.

About You

  • Ability to negotiate with all stakeholders.
  • Excellent and demonstrated customer service knowledge and skills
  • Proficient in relevant computer applications, and data entry. As well as an ability to learn and adapt to new computer systems
  • Strong phone, verbal and face to face communication skills along with active listening
  • Experience in leading and mentoring people with a disability
  • Sound knowledge of current Disability sector including National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)
  • Experience working directly with a person with disability
  • Ability to engage and adapt to different personality types in different external environments
  • Certificate III in Community Services or Equivalent
  • Ability to undertake the duties of the role in accordance with CC’s Mission, Vision and Values; and its Code of Ethics and Conduct Ability to problem solve and come up with solutions that benefit all stakeholders.
  • Valid Working with Children Check
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module Training
  • National Criminal History Check (obtained in the last 6 months) with no disclosable outcomes
  • Current NSW driver’s licence A current NSW drivers’ licence with the flexibility to travel to multiple locations
