The Adara Group is seeking a Senior Programmes Manager to lead our Knowledge and Impact stream and to provide programmatic support to our Remote Community Development (RCD) and Maternal, Newborn, Child Health (MNCH) teams.

ABOUT THE ROLE

• Part of a global organization with a 22-year track record of impact
• Support Adara’s programmes teams, including programme strategy, planning, design, and effective cross-cutting between MNCH and RCD implementation.
• Lead a high-performing Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) team
• Opportunity to develop and lead Adara’s knowledge sharing team and strategy to expand impact
• The successful candidate will be offered the choice of a full-time role or a nine-day fortnight (0.9) at their election

THE IMPACT YOU WILL CREATE

Reporting to the CEO, the Senior Programmes Manager will:

• Support the effective implementation of Adara’s MNCH and RCD programmes to ensure they are appropriately resourced and align with Adara’s strategic priorities
• Lead and manage the M&E stream and the M&E Manager to ensure best practice monitoring of Adara’s programmes
• Develop and execute a Knowledge Sharing strategy, to ensure our work and our knowledge impacts many more lives, including recruiting, leading and managing the Knowledge Sharing Manager
• Seek opportunities to expand and promote awareness of Adara’s work to in the sector
• Facilitate knowledge sharing internally across Adara’s streams of work.
• Serve as a link between the programmes and M&E teams and other teams in the organisation to assist with organisational cohesion.

ABOUT YOU

To excel in this position, you will need:

• Strong leadership qualities with demonstrated ability to create a positive team culture.
• Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline (international development, international relations, social studies, etc.).
• Proven track record in a variety of programmes operations.
• 7+ years’ experience in international development.
• Experience in M&E and a deep understanding of best practice monitoring, evaluation, and measurement of impact
• Knowledge management and communications experience would be an advantage.
