<p>In consultation with the Manager and Clinical lead, headspace Wagga Wagga, the Clinical Educator will:</p>

<li>Coordinate student placements for the centre and maintain relationships with relevant universities</li>
<li>Support the onboarding and induction of students</li>
<li>Engage in other stakeholder engagement activities that assist in successful delivery of student placements at the service</li>
<li>Where appropriate, provide task supervision, mentorship, and support to students and graduates</li>
</ul>
<h3>What you&rsquo;ll need to succeed</h3>

<li>Approved degree and registration in Social Work, Psychology or Occupational Therapy</li>
<li>A minimum 3 years&rsquo; clinical experience in a mental health setting post qualification and be eligible to provide clinical supervision</li>
<li>Knowledge, experience, and demonstrated passion for, and interest in, the health and welfare issues affecting young people and improving health outcomes</li>
<li>Awareness and knowledge of relevant legislation and regulatory frameworks informing the mental health of young people</li>

<p>In consultation with the CEO and Director &ndash; Operations, the Executive Officer:</p>

<li>Acts as primary point of contact for the office of the CEO/Director &ndash; Operations, including supporting the management of information exchange and ensure effective communication occurs across the senior leadership team and key stakeholder groups</li>
<li>Develops and maintains cultural awareness and fitness through participation in cultural training, discussions, and diversity initiatives</li>
<li>Provides executive support to the CEO and Director &ndash; Operations including:

<li>preparation of draft correspondence, reports and responses as required</li>
<li>monitoring of the CEO and Director &ndash; Operations inbox</li>
<li>effective diary management and any associated travel and accommodation</li>
<li>routine management of financial and credit card transactions, budgeting and invoicing</li>
</ul>

<li>Coordinates Board meetings and provide high level administrative support including distribution of board papers, agenda and minutes and follow up on action items</li>
</ul>
<h3>What you&rsquo;ll need to succeed</h3>
<ol>
<li>Demonstrated experience providing executive assistance to a CEO or a senior executive position.</li>
<li>Excellent written, oral communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to interact with a diverse range of people and build effective professional relationships.</li>
<li>Strong organisational, communication and liaison skills with a strong attention to detail, the ability to plan personal workloads and develop and maintain strong working relationships to influence colleagues and deliver to agreed timelines.</li>
<li>Good ICT literacy, with demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, website management tools, Internet, mainstream social media platforms and other software desirable.</li>
</ol>

<p>The focus of the Senior Vocational Specialist is to implement the Individual Placement and Support (IPS) within headspace Wagga Wagga. The Senior Vocational Specialist will work with young people who experience barriers to employment and/or education to support them to achieve their vocation and/or education goals. The Senior Vocation Specialist will also be responsible for ensuring seamless data collection and to support the headspace manager in the completion of reports. This will involve assertive outreach work combined with excellent youth engagement skills to ensure young people are well supported and are linked to suitable employment opportunities.</p>
<h3>Your new role</h3>
<p>In consultation with the Manager, headspace Wagga Wagga, the Senior Vocational Specialist is to:</p>
<ul>
<li>Provide specialised individual career development services that support young people to gain employment.</li>
<li>Assist young people to attend job service provider and Centrelink appointments if applicable.</li>
<li>Ensure the IPS fidelity model is adhered to and support headspace manger in the preparation of all fidelity review process with DSS.</li>
<li>Ensure seamless process for data collection and provide written reports and data reports to headspace Manager in preparation for reporting.</li>
</ul>
<h3>What you&rsquo;ll need to succeed</h3>
<ol>
<li>Tertiary qualifications including relevant professional registration as required and/or experience in employment services, vocational rehabilitation, career development or a related field.</li>
<li>Experience in mentoring and supervising staff and within the Vocation and Education industry or similar supervision experience.</li>
<li>Experience in data collection and preparing reports for Government bodies as per funding guidelines.</li>
<li>Extensive knowledge of issues that impact young people when accessing employment and/or educational opportunities.</li>
</ol>
