The Opportunity to lead Changemakers…

The Head of Impact Hub & Strategy role exist to clearly demonstrate a credible account of change with our field for our supporter segments.

On a day to day basis, the leader would be accountable for:

  • Role modelling behaviours and actions that build a culture of trust - igniting the personal gifts and passions of self and others to become impact led and market informed.
  • Actively seeking and creating opportunities for self and others, to effectively connect and collaborate across our enterprise, market and field to realise our full potential.
  • Embedding the Global Impact Framework and strategic initiatives to ensure all of WVA’s work contributes toward achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG).
  • Driving forward the development of the Impact and Capital Campaign Goals.
  • Building an Impact Business.
  • Leading the Impact Hub and Strategy Team to make full use of evidence for external engagement, strategy realisation, shape quality programming, and fundraising/acquisition.
  • Identifying ways to improve Field Impact Team’s effectiveness to continually meet the needs of our field offices whilst ensuring financial growth and thought leadership.
  • Leading the strategic direction of our Impact Hub and Strategy Team.

Who we are looking for…

  • Experience in agile methodology;
  • Experience in culture shift;
  • Training resource development and capacity building;
  • Ability to collect and use evidence;
  • Lead and build a high performing team;
  • Ability to translate complex systems/data to increase understanding;
  • Thorough understanding of market and overall sector;
  • Proven to ability to apply enterprise leadership skills;
  • Ability to lead and work with ambiguity;
  • Masters/degree in a relevant discipline – Business, marketing, international relations/Development, or a relevant technical field;
  • Executive Leadership Certification (Desirable).

What you need to know

This role is a permanent position operating in a full-time capacity and will be based at our head office in Burwood East, Victoria.
