We are looking for an enthusiastic Community Engagement Coordinator to coordinate the functions of our Community Info Hub and undertake outreach and engagement activities. Duties of the role include:

  • Support Community Engagement volunteers to meet program objectives including rostering, answering day to day enquiries and on the job training
  • Assist with the recruitment of volunteers under the direction of the Senior Programs Coordinator
  • Source and monitor appropriate information for display in the Info Hub and online to facilitate community engagement
  • Update and source information to be included in Info Guides and fact sheets
  • Assist with data integrity across online platforms
  • Deliver VCA’s presence and promote the organisation to other services, at various expos and networking events
  • Maintain accurate and up to date records of all interactions with external stakeholders and of volunteer records
  • Build and maintain professional relationships, including recommending collaboration or partnership opportunities
  • Provide accurate information for reports for relevant Departments, Board of Directors and for the Executive team
  • Contribute to the smooth running and facilitation of both business sites
  • Respond to all general enquiries including resolving member and VCA’s online platform enquiries in a professional and timely manner
  • Contribute to organisational priorities including ongoing program alignment and partnering
