The Role

The University of Notre Dame is seeking a Lecturer for the Population and Preventive Health Domain at the School of Medicine. This position reports to the Dean through the Chair of Population and Preventive Health Domain and is responsible in reviewing and delivering the PPH components of the medical curriculum.

To be successful in the role, you will have:

  • Master of Public Health or equivalent post-graduate degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience working as a public health practitioner or public health physician.
  • A sound understanding of adult learning principles with outstanding interpersonal, organisational, time management and communication skills.

This position is accredited by the Australasian Faculty of Public Health Medicine as an advanced training position for public health physician trainees. The position has potential to be accredited as an extended skills position for general practice (WAGPET) trainees.
