Mostly Mad Music is a registered health promotion charity raising awareness about mental health using the power and passion of music. This year, as part of mental health month, Mostly Mad Music has been funded by City of Sydney to take classical music from the concert halls to the streets of Sydney from the 14-18 October. We will be putting on a series of pop up chamber music concerts themed by mood on different days (Monday – happy, Tuesday – relaxing etc.). The pop-up concerts will take place across Sydney CBD. The week will finish with a private mental health commemoration concert at Customs House, Sydney.
Ideally, we would like you to assist in the coordination of the festival as well the final concert. This would include scheduling, timetabling, assistance with budget and logistics and acting as main coordinator on the day of the concert. Plenty of opportunity to take on more responsibility if you're keen and show initiative. Great opportunity for someone looking to get into events or hone their skills in this area. This is a volunteer position but some remuneration may be available for the right candidate.
For more information, please view the festival's website.
