Resourcing, health and education is seeking an enthusiastic Peer Community Educator, who’s values are closely aligned with the intentions of the RhED, to challenge stigma and discrimination encountered by sex industry workers. Aimed at addressing barriers and oppressive forces that limit safety for workers in the adult services industry, the peer community educator role will assist in building stronger networks of support through targeted community education. RhED is working to create a stronger peer workforce, including more roles, in recognition of the value of peer work initiatives. Peer workers offer additional ‘lived’ experience that complements and enriches the existing workforce within the RhED program.
